On Trial is an educational social deduction game set during the Red Scare of the 1950s and 60s. Designed for classroom use, it immerses players in the fear-driven atmosphere of McCarthyism, highlighting how propaganda and paranoia can fracture relationships and incite betrayal.
I developed the game mechanics, character materials, and visual identity, drawing from mid-century modernist aesthetics, emphasizing stark geometric forms, limited color palettes, and bold, abstracted figures.
